2. Four, weekly one-on-one coaching sessions (1.5 hr each) – $800 value
Session 1: The Hero’s Journey
Prior to the first coaching session, students will have completed modules 1 and 2 and the accompanying homework (writing the outline for your story) and emailed it back for review. Your coach will review your outline and make notes which will be reviewed in the first session.
In the coaching session, you will go over your homework and notes with your coach. She will answer questions you may have and help you refine plot points, characters, overall structure of your story. Homework will be assigned for next session.
Session 2: The First Draft
Once your first draft is complete, you will email it to your coach and she will review it and make notes. In your second session, you will discuss your first draft and how to make your next draft even better. Homework will be assigned: the rewrite and accompanying video tutorial.
Session 3: The Rewrite
Once you have completed the rewrite module and handed in your homework, again, your coach will review your latest draft and make notes, which you will review in your session. You will get suggestions for your next / final draft, have any questions answered. Homework will be assigned: to complete the next or final draft based on feedback from the second draft and you will do a final proof read of your story to ensure all grammar, spelling and punctuation is correct. Homework is submitted prior to the final sessions for review.
Session 4: The Polish, Next Steps
Your coach will go over notes from your next / final draft and make any suggestions for a next draft, if necessary. Final questions are answered about this or any other module. We will also briefly go over the next steps module and your coach will make suggestions as to how to market your story in the best way for your business.
As the name suggests, this is the full-meal deal.
It includes everything in the home study and coaching programs. Upon completion of the four week coaching portion of this program, you will embark on the creation of your marketing video based on the story that was written in the coaching program.
1. Project consultations
a. Initial project consult (2 hours) ($200 value)
i. Based on story written, we will brainstorm concept for your video
ii. Together, we will decide: If story will be told in interview or story style?, if other interviews are needed (maximum of 3, including yours), location(s), b-roll, music, date of shoot, date of 1st edit / final cut
iii. Pre-Production – 3-5 days
1. Shot lists, story boards, shoot / post production schedule, location scout and all other pre-production planning is done in this phase.
b. Final consult before film shoot (2 hour) ($200 value)
i. Go over story board, finalize script / story / b-roll
ii. Listen to 1st edit of music created so far – is it going in the right direction (will be finalized during post)
iii. Finalize shoot day schedule
2. 1 day shoot (max 8 hours) which includes cinematographer fees, equipment rental, maximum of 2 locations (including travel between) ($1420 value)
3. 1 day of post production (max 14 hours, 2 revisions) which includes editors fees, DVD of final video, color correction, titles and visual effects (if applicable) ($1680 value)
4. Original music composition (max 2 revisions) ($500 value)
5. Tutorial videos – $500 value
